LPCC strives to provide the highest quality pastoral counseling services at an affordable cost to all persons regardless of race, religious affiliation, economic status, age, sexual orientation or national origin. We are informed by the wisdom of faith traditions as well as the insights of behavioral science in our understanding of and therapeutic approach to the healing of persons and their relationships. We (not only) see persons for whom faith is central to their lives as well as those who claim no faith orientation.

QUALITY OF CARE

Each therapist on staff at LPCC has earned a masters or doctorate degree in a therapeutic field. Many therapists have received additional training and/or certification in specialty areas. State licenses, national certifications, and regular supervision are required for therapists, ensuring quality services.

FAITH-BASED COUNSELING

Clients are invited to bring their faith to the counseling process. We see faith and the spiritual life as vital elements in the healing, growth and change process. Our therapists are respectful of each client’s faith journey and encourage the integration of this critical part of life in the therapeutic process.

PRIVATE, NON-PROFIT SETTING

The LPCC is a non-profit, faith-based, ecumenical ministry sponsored through a cooperative effort of faith congregations, individuals and organizations. Through this generous support, we are able to provide excellent counseling services at affordable rates.
